NELE – the drama enacted on the top of tree….
is a exceptional drama venture by me & my team… I was the drama writer & director for that. The drama caught the attention of the whole India.. and was featured on Limca Book of Records for its performance on tree top.
The story revolves around the plight of hapless people who are rendered homeless due the politics & land mafia..and thus find their new home atop a tree..and the story unfolds..we first staged this play atop a tree in Malleshwaram, Bangalore and later did the show in Channarayapatna in Hassan district both in state of Karnataka.
for the first show about 4000 people had amassed & in channarayapattana, we expected about 500 people to come but it turned out to be more than 6000 people…
i also did a small cameo role in both the shows.
